I Do Thee No Wrong

But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?--Matthew 20:3 (KJV)

In an illustration of the workers in the vineyard, Jesus describes a householder who pays the same amount of money to all is workers, whether they worked the whole day or just one hour. (Matthew 20:8-16) if we all look at the illustration, dose that seem fair? Actually, the house holder treated all the workers as those having a right to a living (lets say, fundamental human right lol). Even though the situation could be viewed as a buyer's market, with no shortage of workers, he did not take advantage of them with enough to feed their families, Taking these point into consideration may change our view of his actions. His decision was a loving one and not an arbitrary abuse of authority.
What lesson can we learn? That considering just some of the facts can cause us to jump to the wrong conclusion. Indeed, this parable highlights the superiority of God’s righteousness, which is not based on legal regulations and human merit alone.

Be A Goal-Setter and Practice Every Day

Who prefers living an aimless life to live with a purpose? Inasmuch as you are living, you must have definite goals set for your life. There include both short and long term goals. They serve as targets you aim to achieve.

We are all aware that human needs are unlimited, and that the joy of having grows in having. Hence, the number of years you live on earth must be filled with ambition. When you accomplish a particular aim, you go for another. “It is our duty as men and women to proceed (set goals) as though the limits to our abilities do not exist,” said Pieere T. Chardin. There is no limit to your achievement until you give up the ghost.

“A bad worker man,” they say, “quarrels with his tools.” So make your goals clear and specific. Take your life one step at a time; you will worry less and achieve more. Do not set unrealistic goals for yourself bearing in mind that one of the reasons why most people fail is lack of focus. You will need to set realistic expectation about what you can do today or tomorrow.

David J. Schwarts says, “Think little goals and expect little achievement. Think big goals and win big success.” Don’t be afraid to aim high when setting up your goals. Focus on it irrespective of the hindrances you may encounter in the course of your pursuit; it may be a step towards accomplishment if you persevere. Try also as much as possible to set a short term goals and whenever you achieve them, you will become more energized for subsequent undertakings.

Write out your goals. They are the parts you hope to hit, the road map for your success. Writing them down will make them more real to you, help you to get there, and keep you committed. It will keep you on track towards your goals.

Master the art of flexibility; your goals and plans are subject to adjustment as things change. Don’t be static, review and upgrade them with time. Discontinue the way you pursue your goal if it is not yielding the desired result. Change your style, and it will consequently start producing something better.

Constant practice is a sine qua non for achieving your set goals. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence is not an act but is achieved through practice. In the pursuit of your goals, resolve to do something every day to move yourself forward to the attainment of one or more of your most important goals, no matter how small it may be. “Inches make champions,” says Vince Lombardi.

I want you to know that every day is important and there is no day you won’t have what will make you great. Truly, if you thing of each day as an important step towards your achievement, your goals won’t seem boring to you. The daily works on your goals enable you to develop and maintain a certain degree of momentum.

If you wait until the wind and the weather are just right, you will never sow anything and never harvest anything. “I program myself for success everyday so I can make the day successful, then the week, and so on,” says Michael Leboeuf. Lazy people should learn a lesson from the way ants live. They have no leader, chief or ruler, but they store up their food during summer, getting ready for the winter.

The patient dog, as we know, eats the fattest bone. Therefore, be patient in your goals and don’t always be in haste for result. It doesn't matter how long it takes you to accomplish them. Every true goal must come to pass, wait for it. In fact, the more you accomplish it and the better you get at accomplishing even more. Remember, the hunter’s surest weapon is patience.

The Best Is Yet To Be

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.--1 John 3:2 (KJV)

If we all understand this Scripture above, we will know that it means "something that has not yet been revealed what we shall be as a sons of God." Let us take this as an example. A man of God lay mortally ill, he turned to those at his bedside and asked, "Do you know what comfort me just now? I find infinite consolation in the fact that in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." His friends asked how that could give solace as he faced death. He answered with the confidence of one about to meet the lord, "Why, if God can bring all the wonder of the world out of nothing, He may sill make something out of me. Now, To think of the glory that awaits we Christians-to have a spirit perfectly pure and a resurrected body that will enable us to enjoy eternity to its fullest staggers the imagination.
Even now God's transforming power is at work in us. At conversion we became children of God and were made "alive together with Christ" (Ephesians 2:5). But that isn't all. Paul said in the future God will "show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:7). No wonder the apostle John exclaimed, "it has not yet been revealed what we shall be. "God is not done with is people yet. The great changes we will experience in glory are beyond our understanding. What a comfort to know the best to be yet.

The Gain for Patience

They soon forget his works; they waited not for his counsel:--Psalm 106:13(KJV)

First of all, let us start with prophet Habakkuk. This prophet we are talking about was so perplexed and impatient. Habakkuk complained to God about the Israelite (Habakkuk 1:2-4). After his complain, the Lord responded by saying that He would use the Babylonians to scourge them (Habakkuk 1:5-11). Then the prophet raised a new problem-Babylon was more wicked than Israel (Habakkuk 1:12-17). Thought he was frustrated, Habakkuk didn't act rashly. Instead, he showed reverence for God by waiting for Him to make things clear. When God spoke to him the answer. He commanded him to proclaim it speedily. But He also told Habakkuk that he would have to wait before seeing all the wrong made right. This delay was a trying experience for Habakkuk, but at last, the answer eventually came and at just the right time.
When waiting for God to work, we must exercise patience and faith, leaving matters in His hands. God will reward us for our patience-but in His own good time, And God's time is the best!

Let Us By Love Grow Up

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:--Ephesians 4:15 (KJV)

By following the way love rules out fornication and loose conduct. Paul encourage we christian not to “go on walking just as the nations also walk.” Those people were “past all moral sense,” and “they gave themselves over
to loose conduct.” Ephesians 4:17 down to v19 The immoral world in which
we live threatens our unity. People ofton joke alot about fornication, even some sing about it, watch it for entertainment, and even practice it either in secret or openly. Yet, even flirting, which may involve acting as though you are sexually attracted to someone you have no intention of marrying, can move you away from God, Why? Because it so easily leads to fornication. Also, flirting that leads a married person into adultery can cruelly separate
children from parents and innocent partners from marriage mates. Divisive indeed! No wonder Paul wrote: "You did not learn the Christ to be so"!
