Handling The Rough

-
Unknown

For this cause left I thee in crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are waiting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee: (KJV)
Titus 1:5

In life, we Christians always find ourselves in a rough situation which as make a lot of people to go back or quit. As Christ followers, we should learn how to face any rough situation in life, we should always find a way of handling it instead in going back or quitting.

On Much 11th, we posted a post  Don't Be Afraid Of Failure. Which says, the only thing that stand between us and our goals is our own far. It is this same far that can stop us from handling any rough situation that come our way.

Titus also found himself in a rough situation, Paul left him alone in crete, charged with the task of building the Lord's work there. But he encountered problems (A Rough Situation). Cretans were generally deceitful, immoral, and lazy, and the spirit had invaded the churches. Paul realized that his friend needed encouragement, so he wrote to him. Paul said, "Things are bad in Crete. But that's exactly why I left you there. God can use you to bring about great and necessary changes." Titus did not quit or run back but he listened to Paul by facing the situation and he succeeded.

When ever we are in a difficult place, we don't help ourselves by finding a way to run back or to quit. Instead, by exercising faith i God and facing the challenge, we can battle our way through the problem.
